Senior Software Engineer 

To join a team of top technical talent and to be key towards the development of software tools and applications in Rust, C++, or Python for Embotech automated driving solutions (yard logistics and car manufacturing).

Your responsibilities:

• Implement software tools and system applications for automated driving projects
• Develop, document, test, and maintain the companion software applications necessary to successfully deploy, test, support, and operate our autonomous driving solutions
• Design the best technical solution based on the requirements of internal and external stakeholders
• Assist internal and external customers in debugging complex problems arising in the field
• Write automated tests and simulations at the system level
• Establish and follow state-of-the-art development practices
• Perform reviews of requirements, documentation, test specifications, and source code
• Ensure the software meets high demands towards performance and reliability.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in development of software in modern C++, Rust, Python or any other language
• Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks, problems, and environments
• Readiness to learn new programming languages (Rust, Lua...)
• Self-organized, solution-oriented, communicative team player with initiative
• Very good oral and written language skills in English
• Experience in distributed real-time systems is an advantage
• Experience with network (UDP, TCP/IP) / communication protocols is an advantage
