To support our growth path, we are looking for a
Payroll Specialist
to join our core team and play an important role in InterVenture`s scaling.
This role requires the ability to hit the ground running, master time management, and have fun multitasking without losing attention to details.
Your responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and process payroll information for employees
- Liaise with internal HR (knowledge of labor laws), Operations, and Finance teams
- Calculation, record keeping, and payment of travel expenses
- Accurate payroll calculation for employees in the provided payroll software
- Submission of tax returns for salaries and allowances (ePorezi) and preparation of payment orders
- Calculation and payment of service contracts, sick leaves, benefits to third parties, completion and submission of requested forms
- Employee registration and deregistration - CROSO
- Preparation of various confirmations for employees
- Preparation of various payroll reports, support, and guidance to management
- Keeping up-to-date with the payroll-related legislation of Serbia
- HR administration
- Assisting with audits and external agencies and providing necessary documentation and reports
- Document processing and contributing to documentation and procedures
- Supporting the finance team in various administrative and finance tasks
Your profile:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Payroll calculations
- University degree in accounting/finance or related field
- Proficiency in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Knowledge of legal and tax regulations related to salary calculation
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines
- Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential matters
- Energetic and proactive attitude aimed at continuous progress
- Experience in “E-računi” payroll software is considered a plus
- Knowledge of general accounting is considered a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
