Our new partner, docuteam, is a Swiss company specializing in digital archiving and information management solutions. Their flagship product, docuteam cosmos, is a modular, cloud-based suite designed to help organizations preserve and manage their digital records securely and efficiently over the long term.

docuteam's offerings include comprehensive tools for data ingestion, metadata management, secure data storage, and easy access, ensuring compliance with international archiving standards. 

Their solutions support state and international archives, universities, museums, and corporate archives, contributing to the preservation of critical information and cultural heritage worldwide.

Together we are building a team and are looking for a:

Fullstack Engineer

to join a dedicated team of engineers working to enhance and manage the docuteam cosmos platform, from design and implementation to deployment and ongoing operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Docuteam's in-house Product Owners and a multidisciplinary team to enhance and maintain core components of the docuteam cosmos platform
• Design, develop, and implement solutions to ensure the platform's high performance, scalability, and reliability
• Modernize and renovate existing systems ensuring alignment with current technological standards and performance requirements
• Optimize the performance of RDF-based systems, integrating search engines and common indexing methods to address performance bottlenecks
• Leverage the repository system to implement digital preservation mechanisms, including stability and fixity checks, and ensure compliance with long-term archiving requirements
• Participate in deployment processes, contribute to DevOps practices, and assist in managing system infrastructure for seamless operations
• Collaborate with Docuteam experts to implement conceptual work effectively, while contributing your own ideas to improve workflows and systems

Your profile:

• Several years of experience with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript, with experience building and maintaining robust web applications
• Experience with Java and DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of and experience with the following frameworks, tools, and applications is also very welcome, although not mandatory:                          Keycloak, Fedora Commons, Meilisearch, Temporal, Neo4j, Node.js, Angular, Drupal
• Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment, with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Interested in contributing to digital preservation and long-term archiving solutions, with a focus on quality and performance
