Together with our partner we are looking for 

Data Engineer

to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing Ringier’s data architecture. Your primary focus will be on managing and transforming large datasets to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence functions. 

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining data transformation processes, metadata structures, and workload management systems.
• Designing and implementing data integrations, data quality frameworks, and enhancements for data warehousing, visualization, and reporting.
• Creating and optimizing data pipelines and architectures for analytics use cases.
• Automating and streamlining data processing to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data solutions align with business requirements.
• Leading the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
• Ensuring data consistency, security, and governance across various platforms.

Tech Stack

• Programming & Data Processing: Python, PySpark, SQL
• Version Control & CI/CD: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Cloud & Data Platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, Palantir Foundry

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 4 years of experience in Python and big data technologies.
• Strong expertise in building and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and architectures.
• Experience leading projects, particularly in data migrations and infrastructure improvements.
• Proficiency in data lifecycle management, transformation, and governance principles.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with unstructured datasets.
• Experience with message queuing, stream processing, and scalable data stores.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
